Narrative

In the cool early morning at Rosaire's Riding Academy, a little six year old girl named Samantha decided to teach her friend Abbey how to tack a horse. First, Samantha went into the tack room and grabbed all the tack: bridle, saddle pad, girth, and the saddle. Samantha looked at Abbey and told her to pay careful attention. The saddle pad goes on the horse right here, as Samantha points to the correct spot. The saddle then goes on top of the saddle. You need the girth to hook onto the saddle and tighten it up. Samantha tightens the girth and the horse, Cody, looks at her and knows he will get ridden today. Abbey asks Samantha if the girth hurts Cody and Samantha shakes her head no. She moves to Cody's head and asks him to put his head down, since she is too short to put the bridle on. Samantha then puts the top part of the bridle over Cody's ears, tightens the chain so that it isn't too tight, and buckles the chin strap. Of course we have to wait on Ellian Rosaire who is the trainer to do one final tack check before you can have an ok to ride. Mrs. Ellian gives the girls the ok.
